    本周 我们在拍摄完

    This week, after we finished filming

    漳州的云霄和东山之后

    at Yunxiao and Dongshan

    in Zhangzhou,

    车队进入了广东的第一站 汕头

    we arrived by car at our first

    stop in Guangdong, Shantou.

    想去看看国家级的

    Do you want to take a look

    at the National

    红树林湿地自然保护区吗

    Mangrove Wetland Nature Reserve?

    那就去趟云霄红树林吧

    Then we should go to the Yunxiao

    Mangrove Forest.

    那儿的红树林可是长得又高又好

    The mangroves there are tall

    and robust.

    涨潮时 它们仿佛在海面上

    These trees look like a huge

    umbrella on the sea

    撑起了一片绿伞

    when the tide rises.

    潮水退去

    When the tide ebbs,

    则成为一片郁郁葱葱的树林

    they restore the appearance

    of a lush forest.

    位于东山岛东北部的铜陵镇

    The town of Tongling in the northeastern

    part of Dongshan Island

    三面临海

    is surrounded by the sea on

    three sides.

    自然景观与人文景观交相辉映

    The town is studded with scenic spots

    and sites of historical interest.

    有天下第一奇石 风动石

    They include the amazing

    Wind-Moving Rock,

    有十分精致的关帝庙

    the exquisite Guan Yu Temple,

    有保存完好的明代铜山古城

    the well-preserved ancient town of Tongshan,

    which dates back to the Ming Dynsty,

    以及被誉为“海上仙山”的东门塔屿等景观

    and Dongmen Island, which is dubbed

    the Magic Mountain on the Sea.

    漫步其中 令人悠然自得

    A stroll through these tourist attractions

    makes you feel carefree and relaxed.

    汕头是北回归线与中国大陆海岸

    Shantou is a beautiful bay city,

    交汇处的一座美丽的海湾城市

    where the Tropic of Cancer crosses

    the coast of the Chinese mainland.

    山水相依 相互映衬

    Here the mountain and the sea set

    off each other in perfect contrast,

    构成了一幅大海拥抱城市

    forming a picture of a city surrounded

    by the sea

    城市拥抱山海的绚丽画卷

    and a mountain and sea embraced

    by a city.

    we're now in Zhaojia Village.

    它可是中国宋朝的皇族后裔

    It was built as a castle by

    descendants of

    仿照当年都城的布局

    the imperial family of China's

    Song Dynasty

    in imitation of the capital city

    at the time.

    可是皇族的后裔

    But why did these imperial descendants

    怎么会在这里修建一座城堡呢

    build a castle here?

    南宋灭亡之后

    After the fall of the Southern

    Song Dynasty,

    皇帝和一大批贵族就流亡到了

    the emperor and a large number

    of aristocrats

    福建和广东一带

    fled to the Fujian and Guangdong area.

    其中一部分人就在这里定居下来了

    Some of them settled here.

    我明白了

    而仿照当年宋朝的都城

    They built this castle town

    in imitation

    来修建这座城堡

    of the Song Dynasty capital city

    应该就是为了怀念自己的故乡吧

    just to express their homesickness.

    waiting to get a portion of the rice.
