有个叫丁一中的官员，
an official called Ding Yizhong,
得知这里的温泉能治病，

就专程来这儿洗了温泉澡。

之后他还写了一篇《温泉铭》，

来赞美这里的温泉
in praise of the benefits
给百姓带来了恩惠。

后来，当地老百姓

就把那篇文章刻在了石碑上，
engraved this essay on a
stone tablet
立在了这里。
