央视国际：奥运传播史上首家新媒体转播机构

　　CCTV.com消息： 2007年12月18日，央视国际网络有限公司（CCTVCOM）在北京正式与国际奥委会签约，成为北京2008奥运会官方互联网/移动平台转播机构。这是国际奥委会在百年奥运的历史上首次将互联网、手机等新媒体作为独立转播机构，与传统媒体一起列入奥运会的转播体系，肩负起奥运传播的神圣使命。

　　在北京2008奥运会的转播上，央视国际将利用全新的技术手段和多终端的媒体平台，为2亿1千万且数量在持续高速增长的中国网民奉献全面、迅速、准确、权威的奥运赛事网络直播、轮播、点播节目；同时作为CCTV传播奥运的重要组成部分，央视国际还将充分发挥台网联动的优势，将互联网、手机和电视平台有机结合，成为相互的延展平台，通过与电视媒体的充分互动，实现2008年北京奥运传播效果的最大化，开创奥林匹克传播新纪元。

　　Open Up a New Era for the Transmission Of the Olympic Games

　　CCTVCOM signed officially a contract with IOC in Beijing on December 18, 2007 and has since then become Official Internet/Mobile Phone Broadcaster of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. It is the first time in the century-long history of the Olympic Games for IOC to take the Internet and Mobile phone as independent media, on an equal footing with the traditional media, for transmission of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

　　CCTVCOM will make use of brand-new technologies and the multi-terminal media platform for an all-round, rapid, accurate and authoritative live network broadcasting, circulation playing, and playing on-demand of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games for 210 million and ever-increasing netizens. CCTVCOM, as an important component part of CCTV for the transmission of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, will make a close integration of the Internet, cell phones and the TV platform to become an extended platform which may contribute, through its interaction with the TV media, to the maximization of the effect of transmission of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
